Project Make Smiles

For more than 10 years, Project Make Smiles has been a cherished holiday tradition dedicated to sharing compassion, kindness, and the spirit of giving throughout our community. What began as an effort to bring joy to residents at one local elderly and physically challenged facility has grown into an annual outreach serving five elderly and physically challenged facilities and one assisted living community.

Each year, just before Christmas, our volunteers prepare and deliver stockings and gift bags filled with fresh fruit, sweet treats, personal care items, and other thoughtful essentials. More than the gifts themselves, these visits provide something priceless—a warm smile, a caring conversation, and the reassurance that our seniors and neighbors are remembered, valued, and loved during the holiday season.

Project Make Smiles is also an opportunity to inspire the next generation of community leaders. We proudly involve local youth, including students completing community service, participants in youth organizations, and other young volunteers, teaching them the importance of compassion, service, and giving back. Walking door-to-door alongside our dedicated volunteers and the support of our local police department, these young people experience firsthand the joy that comes from serving others and building meaningful connections across generations.

This annual outreach is made possible through the generosity of donors, sponsors, businesses, and community partners who believe that every act of kindness can make a lasting difference.
